Like for instance they will criticize it but then give them a pass by citing some R+D nonsense around the expense of developing a hinge or wheels which have been in existence for literally thousands of years. The result is that either the creator becomes overly positive about a product or they become so subdued in their criticism of products that it almost barely reads as anything to a viewer. When they are negative other fanboys of that product start bombing their channel. When people are super positive they get a lot of positive feedback and reinforcement. I don’t really think anyone is doing anything wrong but I think a strange turn of human nature is occurring. I didn’t even bring up Microsoft because strangely they are almost a non-entity these days which is really weird given where they came from. And strangely enough if it’s a Linux channel they will hate on Apple and Google and of course the solution to all your problems… a linx distro.

If it’s an Android channel the same applies with their treatment of Google. However I am blown away by how often I just run into Fan Boy videos masquerading as review videos.įor instance if a channel specializes in Apple review stuff they will almost never criticize anything apple does. So often I like many people will go to youtube to watch a review of this or that product to get an idea of what the experience of it is like.
